Dear Patients,

It is with great sadness that I share with you the news of my father, Dr. Mark Tummarello’s passing after a courageous battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully in his home on September 15th, 2023 surrounded by our family.

My father truly loved his profession as a dentist. He looked forward to coming to work each day and cherished his relation onships with his patients, many of whom he had known since he opened the practice over 30 years ago. Work was a source of great joy in his life and he worked for as long as his health allowed him to do so.  He is greatly missed.

After practicing as a dentist in Roanoke, VA for 6 years, I was fortunate enough to practice alongside my dad for almost a year since joining the practice in 2022. I have already met many of the wonderful patients and I will be taking over the care of Dr. Mark Tummarello’s patients as well. I am honored to continue the legacy of this wonderful dental practice.
